For the past few years I was employed to design and build online commercial and print editorial/marketing activity for Bauer Media UK, the UK’s most influential media brand network, who manage a portfolio of more than 600 magazines, over 400 digital products and 50 radio and TV stations around the world.

Digital / Web / UX & UI
One of tasks included designing and coding / building responsive digitial experiences for mobile / desktop, giving maximum importance to accessibility / useability and web standards with the users experience at the forefront.

Below are some digital partnerships with KISS FM, Magic FM, Absolute Radio, Hits Network stations that I crafted using Adobe XD, Figma, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects along with HMTL5, Javascript, Bootstrap.

Where’s Your Head At?

Website & Digital / Socials



The Where’s Your Head At? campaign launched in May 2018 with two key objectives;

  • Drive social action and change the conversation around mental health in the workplace.
  • And ultimately, to change the law around mental health provisions in the workplace, giving mental health equal parity to physical health in the workplace.

As a collaboration between Bauer Media UK, Natasha Devon MBE and Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England, I was tasked with the Design & Development of a brand new website to be used as a hub of information related to the campaign and to get Employees and Employers & MPs involved in changing the law to project our mental health.

To date over 200,000 people have signed the petition, whilst 80 MPs and around 500 employers have given their backing to the campaign’s Manifesto.

As well as a  groundswell of public support for the issue, since going live a host of celebrities (Professor Green, Candice Brown, Tom and Giovanna Fletcher, Rachel Riley), MPs and the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan have also shown their support for the campaign.

Over the course of my 3+ years at Bauer Media I worked on over 50 digital & web projects for the their partnership with Wickes. During that time there the partnership delivered outstanding results despite the pandemic.

According to a Carat Post-Campaign Study*, 69% of audiences felt a positive association with Wickes due to the partnership, leading to 33% of audiences making a Wickes purchase within six months of when the research was conducted.

*The study comprised quantitative research with 5 key focus groups of males aged 25-64 in November 2020.

For eight years I was responsible for the design and front end development of the Trinity College website and associated digital channels as part of the Communications and Marketing Directorate.

As part of this central service, I;
- Designed and built high quality standards compliant & accessible websites
- Used responsive design techniques
- Tested across multiple browser/platforms and devices

Along with being the first and central point of contact for website design across all Academic, Administrative and Support areas, I also produced, maintained and supported key College websites such as the College Maps, Video Wall, TCD Global and Local Homepages, Communications Office and other top level pages.

I also;
- Offered advice and guidance on digital design and content for new and existing websites
- Advised on planning and production of promotional video and audio work
- Administered and published to the Trinity YouTube EDU and iTunesU video channels
- Managed the Trinity Social Media Project which looks at the use and integration of social media for TCD web presence
